Upon starting my shift I opened the parcel to find fresh salmon fillets, I looked at the receipt and felt something was off because of the price of salmon at $53.99kg and 2 pieces only coming to $18.24 before a 10% staff discount. I weighed the items myself at $53.99kg and the amount they should have been $22.14 before 10% discount. I have observed footage from 16:39pm 29/07/2025. The staff member has weighed the fillets at $43.99kg. I weighed them myself again at the price of $43.99kg to make sure this was the price I saw on the camera footage as the light reflects onto the price making it difficult to see. At this price the salmon came to $18.24. Obviously she has been with us a very long time and can be bad with numbers so I am hoping this is a simple mistake on her part however I will be keeping a close eye on this. I have the footage saved on my phone if needed.
